   I think that you&#039;re right that most programs do have a good balance between clinical experiences and theory.  After all, it is not the job of your nursing school to prepare you for every detail of you future job, but rather to make you safe in the basics and give you the confidence to learn the specifics to your unit as you are exposed to them.
